Painting Description

Soft colours fuse in this rendition of a Waterloo County bush in late autumn. The light is filtered but still theatrical in a controlled way.

The light is filtered through the bush in an almost ghostly fashion picking out features here and there. I find a painting like this difficult to execute because the range of tints, tones and shades is very limited. I do like the result.
