Painting Description

This small snow covered stone bridge is located in Blair. Dramatic light emphasizes the warm light against the cool snow.

I painted this bridge in the summer and wanted to return to see what I could do with a winter view of this old stone bridge. This stream flows from the mill pond, made popular by the Sheaves Tower (Old Helper, Image # H0005). After winding through swampy land, the stream flows into the Grand River near Blair.
