Painting Description

A barn raising has a practical purpose and demands a huge amount of work in both planning and execution. Quite commonly new materials only constitute a part of the construction list while recycled cement blocks, timbers and siding make up the balance. Beyond all the work there are two social components. Much joy is apparent in the Mennonite community as a reassurance of their own self-sufficiently is raised, but also present is the enjoyment of having friends and neighbours getting together.
