Fishing at Wallenstein

Painting Description

Those people familiar with my paintings may recognize that I reuse motifs in different settings. My attempt is to make something different using figures in a diverse setting and thus create a new picture. This approach is not very unusual. A study of art history will show many examples of this. In my case, it is all about picture making. It has been said that to a man that has a hammer everything is a nail. To me everything that I see is a picture just waiting to be painted in whatever form takes my fancy.
