Painting Description

Mennonites cherish the family. Because they live in a narrow world, there is both the time and the interest to do things together. I have shown this family group at a farm just northwest of St. Jacobs. This is one of my favourite farmhouses, and I have used it as a setting in other paintings, such as Busy Road (B), Image # 1137.
