Painting Description

This hilltop view suggested tapestry to me with the montage of leafy shapes. This is one of several ink and watercolour pieces that I developed hoping that a well-known British art dealer, Chris Beetles, would decide to handle my work. Unfortunately for me, after a two-month deliberation he decided against the idea. This was one of the disappointments that I have experienced but on the other hand, I have had many, many pieces of good fortune in this funny business. Chris may have not liked this painting but I do. It is very important for an artist to follow his own instincts.
