This scene is viewed from behind a shop in central Costa Rica.The entire settlement seemed to be supported by the specialty of painted items from furniture to knick knacks. The local scenery provides a rich source of images to these artisans who specialize in painting landscape and animals as well as flowers onto wooden ware.
