Sissinghurst Pattern
Painting Description
My wife is a keen fan of gardens and flowers. Over the years she has introduced me to an interesting approach of taking photos at close range of groups of blooms. I am surprised at how often these patterns that present themselves in a small area produce an attractive painting. With a large famous garden like Sissinghurst, which we visited often because we lived nearby, the choice of colour patches like this is endless. I think that this garden design would make pretty wrapping paper.
