Painting Description
Sugar shanties in autumn, from Mennonite country, are drawn together to build a multi-image pattern.
These buildings are separate but united through the impressionistic handling. Perhaps R. York Wilson’s murals were one influence in this piece. I believe this painting to be quite successful and a possible thread to pursue.
