Young Mennonite Man
Painting Description
This painting shows a young Mennonite man, overall-clad, working at a barn raising.
Although many Mennonites do not wish to have their picture taken, for some reason for a special event like a barn raising, the rules are slightly relaxed. I always get the permission of the owner of the barn and then everyone is happy.
This original painting was part of a donation by the artist in 2015 to Lisaard & Innesfree Hospice. To see the paintings donated: LIHDONATION
