Yellow Pail

Painting Description

For a number of years I was the supplier of used plastic pails to some of my Mennonite friends. I was fortunate enough to rescue pails which had contained butter or oil from restaurants. Since these brightly coloured plastic items were of no further use to the restaurants, these buckets were thrown away. This painting showcases one of “my” buckets in use in a sugar bush near Heidelberg.
