Painting Description
The railway tracks border both sides of the river just east of Vancouver. Although I photographed this area in 1989, it was not until 2000 that I actually managed to paint this dramatic view. I am reminded by this sight of the paintings done in the late 1880’s of Yellowstone National Park.
