Painting Description

Many of us from the K-W area fondly remember skating on the lake in Victoria Park. What sticks in my mind is the confusion of people and activities. One afternoon in particular stands out for me when along with some cousins, we went skating there. For some reason that escapes my memory, I did not wear my own skates but my uncle’s that were too large and offered no support to my ankles. I resembled, I am afraid, that young skater in the front right.
