Painting Description

This is an idealized view of winter. As a young artist I did not get out into nature to observe for myself the personality of a scene. This amateur piece is loosely based on the work of a German artist, Joseph Kugler. In retrospect, I think that I did rather well. Immodest, I grant you, but honest.
