Painting Description

England is dotted with pretty country homes that nestle into the landscape, almost as if the architecture was formed with the grounds. From our little rented cottage in the small village of Colerne, near Bath, I drove out into the country looking for nothing more than something that would charm me. I found this house just over a small bridge on a country road that dead–ended, except for an exit that went through a farmyard. Gems, like this view, are there just for the enjoying.
