White House (Les Eboulements)

Painting Description

Crouched along the St. Lawrence River, small old villages still hold dear a distinct look. Most of the buildings are wooden and painted in joyful colours that conform to the stereotypical image that the rest of North America holds of the French style. I”ve travelled along the St. Lawrence a number of times in this area north of Quebec City and have delighted in this picture postcard world.
