Painting Description
The Waterloo Library is located on the former site of the Waterloo Market. I was raised just down Dorset Street (then called Water Street) only a block and a half away. Both of my grandfathers were vendors at the market over the years. The time frame for this painting is the late 1950’s. The City of Waterloo owns the original of this piece.
