Painting Description

I was drawn to this scenery by the combination of large contrasting trees on the right-hand side. All my things start from one “piece of business” often a tiny kernel and then get built out as I work with the subject. I’m afraid that people are sometimes disappointed that I am not motivated by a grand idea.
