Walls of Firewood
Painting Description
Traditional Mennonite farming methods demand a good deal of preparation. For maple syruping to be successful, a lot of wood needs to be cut and split to provide heat for the evaporator. This painting shows the walls of wood waiting for the weather to co-operate so that syruping can begin.
