Walking Power to the Field

Painting Description

The lane at this farm near Wallenstein is just able to accommodate this six-horse team. I marvel at the way these great lumbering beasts will plod to the field with almost no guidance. They seem to sense the job at hand. It is worth noting the fence behind the buggy. This wooden fence encloses the farmhouse yard and makes a safe area for the two toddlers that live there. By putting a fence around the house and a gate on the laneway an area is created for the temporary holding of cattle.
