Painting Description

This bit of my childhood is now seldom seen. Visiting all my Mennonite relatives on their farms, I marvelled at these chicken houses and all their occupants running freely around the farm. The title of this painting reflects my desire for “wild” chickens and the delicious eggs that they produced with the almost orange-coloured yolks.
