View of Singleton, West Sussex

Painting Description

The non-stop parade of red roofs is typical of that area of the Weald. The Royal Mail truck is stopped at the edge of town.

We visited this town in 1990 on our way to the Weald and Downland Museum which is a countryside facility where the rural history of West Sussex is explained. I would love to return to this area when the Autumn Countryside show takes place.
