Vermont Mill, Stowe

Painting Description

This funny looking, often amended, mill stretches out like a railway train. I count industrial subjects among the topics that I paint. There are many artists who are content to explore a limited number of themes, but that is not the way that I feel. I paint whatever comes my way, if I feel I can do something with the topic. For me as a painter, the fun is in the process of making a painting. Once the painting is finished, I lose interest in it because I am on to the next one. I do not treasure what I have done. I value what I am about to do.
