Painting Description

The Sheaves Tower at Blair is a landmark in the Waterloo Region. During its working life it supplied additional power to the mill across the road. No longer functional, it is now watched over by the Region’s Historical Society. I entitled the painting “Two Old Veterans” because I thought about how long this tree has stood by the Sheaves Tower.

This painting is part of a group of works painted for a series of T.V. programs on Rogers Cable 20.
