Painting Description

In the quiet of the maple bush, this aged and much patched shanty waits for the return of the teams with their tubs of sap. I chose to paint this early in the season when snow covers everything.

This view was prompted by an old photo that I took over 30 years ago. It has sparkling light and quietly dramatic presentation. Notice that there is no hint of the dreaded blue pipeline that has followed.
