Teamwork

Painting Description

Some Mennonite groups have banned the use of tractors because they want to encourage the teamwork that is necessary in horse-powered farming. The welfare of the group or brotherhood is more important to them than the rights of the individual. See: The cover of The Painted Horse, Resting Time, Image #2275 as another example of a co-operative horse powered afternoon.
