Painting Description

The area in London behind Harrods is a tangle of small blind alleys. This is an expensive area in which to live as the proximity to shops, restaurants and businesses is much desired. I like the way the light breaks through to illuminate the pastel mews’ houses which were stables and coach houses many years ago for the grand mansions on the main streets.
