Painting Description

Walking along the Walter Bean Trail on a warm late autumn afternoon, I was taken by the wonderful colours that were still in the landscape even though the leaves had fallen.

Each year as the seasons change I am struck by the next colourway and by how much I had not noticed the year before. Even though I am supposedly trained in mindful observation, I realize how much more there is to see.
