Sun on the Evenlode River
Painting Description
Sunlight provides a dramatic touch to a small Oxfordshire River, the Evenlode near Kingham.
I was on my way to a Gypsy encampment that vanished into thin air from the previous day when I noticed this small river which was enriched by sunlight. We all enjoy coming across a quote by an expert that supports our closely held personal view. Here is one that echoes my feeling from none other than John Constable. “Let the form of an object be what it may – light, shade and perspective will always make it beautiful.”
