Subtle Spring Colours
Painting Description
In this painting I return to the path of Boomer Creek as it winds through Mennonite Country in early spring.
Because I wanted to explore and describe the subtle shifts in colour in this familiar subject, this painting turned out to be quite a challenge. I have no idea how often I have painted some stretch of this winding waterway, but I do seem drawn back.
