Stream near Fairy Lake
Painting Description
This aqueous painting was inspired by a rainy day at a small lake about twenty miles from Huntsville. This stream is one of many that forms and then absorbs into marshland as feeders for this little known lake. My wife always says that she feels that rain intensifies autumn colours, but I think the rain somehow makes the colours mix and soften.
