Painting Description

This acrylic springs from a study (see image # P0412 “Stone Mill, Fergus Study”), but shows how much more I have widened my view. This work with its range of buildings sets the main mill in context, demonstrating how a subject grows in my head as I deal with it. Paintings never turn out the way that I think they will, and that for me is part of the fun of painting.
