Start of the Day (B)

Painting Description

I think that this moody treatment is rather unusual for me. It is difficult for me, when I view my own work so many years later to understand, let alone explain, just what must have been going on in my little bald head when I painted a piece such as this. Would it be a strange comment on another level to mention that I very much like the way that I painted the pose on the man in this piece?
