Painting Description

Patterns in the siding, in the stone wall, in the barn door and in the overgrown grass make for an active design. The colours of this small piece of agricultural architecture near New Hamburg, Ontario are quiet and restrained. I painted at this farm with a group of artists just shortly before the barn was demolished for a subdivision.
