Painting Description

Often the job of driving the teams at harvest falls to older children (12 or 13 years old). Sometimes an older man who is not up to the rigorous labour in the field is given the driver’s job. Within the Mennonite tradition everyone has a contribution to make and does so eagerly because they realize that the strength of the group depends on the individuals who make it up.
