Painting Description

Our next door neighbour was a tough old bird like the one I’’ve shown here. In spite of difficult weather, she tied a scarf over her hat, a hat always being necessary, and faced the weather. I am surprised by how many places and people from my childhood pop back into my memory once I start down memory lane.
