Painting Description

Years ago this image was reproduced as a card and I felt it strong enough for a reproduction. I am trying to introduce to our line all aspects of Mennonite life. Because I am a man, it is somewhat difficult for me to get a female subject. My acceptance by the Mennonite women is less enthusiastic than that of the men. This is a cultural thing and now is changing somewhat.
