Spanish Hillside
Painting Description
For a young person from a Mennonite home in Waterloo County, the Spanish landscape seemed exotic. Terraces for the growing of grapes and olives were new to me on my first trip to Europe in the fall of 1966. I think now that it would be fun to return to this area north of Torremolinos.
