Painting Description

My work for the Lane Furniture Company in Altavista, VA, took me into much pretty back country. Sepia coloured ink was used to form the skeleton of this work with acrylic wash added later. This log house is a good example of many older buildings that are now being rejuvenated by city people who want a country home as their retreat. Even the traditional fence had been newly installed.
