Painting Description

The Mennonite farmers of Waterloo County would not consider this farm to be much of a success, and as a well-kept operation, I would tend to agree. This tiny farm near Parry Sound does however make a wonderful subject for a painting. I have never been able to figure out why a particular view grips me, but this small assemblage of narrow barns along with the manure spreader certainly does. The whole painting thing is so personal.
