Painting Description

My attempt in this painting is to show some of the many components of a small Amish farm. The woman hanging up the wash, the washing machine on the porch, the apple picker with the baskets, the kids, the geese, the pond, the small shed and the four-horse hitch in the mid distance were all separate elements from around the country. The view across the countryside also becomes a player in this small drama.
