Shilton Garden

Painting Description

We spent a week in a beautifully and expensively converted granary in a small village near Burford in the Cotswolds in 1987. This tiny village was chock-a-block with pretty houses that provided me with far too many opportunities to paint. By taking many photos, I was able to capture views and bits that serve me very well. Now, years later, I can look at these shots and instantly I am back in that pretty spot very near the air base at Brize Norton.
