Painting Description

Having been raised in a rather religious way, I was of course steeped in stories of sheep, sheep folds and shepherds. I suppose that is part of the reason that I would choose to paint a rather everyday subject here in the dale country of Derbyshire. The one thing that I don”t remember from those Bible stories was the landrovers that the shepherds use.
