Painting Description

This painting was commissioned by Ausable-Bayfield Conservation Authority to commemorate its 50th anniversary. The scene depicts a family, a farmer, and fishermen sharing the benefits of a conservation lake.

My models for the family depicted here were my niece Cynthia, her husband Kent and their son Spencer… interestingly enough they made a move to the Bayfield Area a few years after this piece was commissioned.
