Shady Corner, Locronan
Painting Description
The patina on the old stone buildings adds so much to the look of this 16th century French town. Placed closely together, the buildings create changing patterns of light and shade that I find irresistible.
This Brittany town has heavy restrictions placed on it to preserve its pretty and ancient look. Even though there are many tourists, the houses and the shops are occupied and continue as a real town.
