Painting Description
This painting is an example of art imitating life-imitating art. A good friend has a small wooden carving of a cow with an arched back that I have often admired. This bit of carving comes from rural Quebec and was done who knows when. You can imagine my surprise when I happened on a cow last fall that could have posed for that carver. Instead she posed for me.
