Seaside Garden

Painting Description

This garden with its protective slatted roof sticks out on a promontory into the ocean at Cape St. Francis. I was surprised to find enough soil for a garden on this rocky shore and goes a long way to explaining why Newfoundlanders have so few vegetables in their diet.
