Painting Description

Over twenty years passed before I got this work to the place that I felt it was done. Many “actors” appeared and then disappeared as I juggled this complicated idea. I wanted to produce a work that harkens back to the great English artist, Sir Alfred Munnings. I think that, in that respect as well as an expression of a tented horse sale, I have been successful.
