Running the Big Saw
Painting Description
This interior view of a buggy-maker’s shop near Milverton is extremely rare. Although the proprietor makes carriages to order for his Amish brethern, he also fills orders for carriages from across the country.
This view shows the first stage of carriage manufacture as logs are cut into boards which will form the box of the vehicle.
