Painting Description

Early evening light creates an idealistic setting along the edge of Grey Silo Golf Course in Waterloo. A thousand shades of green are complemented by the colour of the sky and the wild phlox.

This pretty dreamy painting reminds me a little of the work of the romantic French painter, Corot. A simple subject can be made into an emotional painting. I must remind myself to really look. This painting was the result of a long walk on the Walter Bean Trail.
